Thunder Up!

That's right people....it's time to Thunder Up!  And boy am I glad!  Right when the Thunder makes it to the semifinals, the NBA decides to have a lockout...ugh.  Finally, a decision was made and now the OKC Thunder will be playing on Christmas Day :)  Merry Christmas to me!  Now if only I could get my hands on some tickets....

Fantasy Football

Ok....so I'm a little behind on this posting thing.  I have a feeling that will happen often as I seem to never have enough hours in the day to accomplish what needs to be done.  However, I do see blogging as becoming my new favorite method of procrastination!  I'm sure my posts will pick up after I began my final year of graduate school next week ha.  Yes, that's right.  My final year!!  Woo hoo!!  Then I will have my MSW and well that's all I know at this point.  I'm not sure exactly where my career in social work will take me, but as long as I am helping others, I'm okay with that!  

One of me and husband's newest adventures is FANTASY FOOTBALL!!  Well, he has been doing it for a few years, but I was cordially invited this year seeing as they needed an extra person.  Is it weird that I'm extremely excited?!  I love watching football; I'm not sure that I keep up with it as well as my husband, but I guess I will this season.   So he has been helping me plan my attack for the draft this next weekend.  Here are a few of his suggestions: Snatch a running back if you have one of the first few picks, then possibly a good QB if you are in the middle, and if you're at the end I suppose either a running back or a QB as well :)   Here's my question: When do I take Sam Bradford?  because I want Sam Bradford ha.   Any other fantasy football pointers?  Or any good picks I should know of?  Let me know!  

I'm officially a blogger!

I finally did it!  My sister talked me into starting a blog!  So get ready for some exciting tales from this Oklahoma gringa who is constantly on the go......
